This post is a curation of 3 4 articles that I think are super useful for any company that needs to improve their marketing and are looking for some inspiration on things to improve.

1. The Complete Guide to ChatBots for Messenger

Well, in here I am linking to 2 articles instead of just one. The first one, by Neil Patel, is about How to Get 88% Open Rates and 56% CTRs Using Facebook Messenger. In it, Neil introduces why using Messenger can be a good way to get huge engagement and then he talks about what bots are, what kind of bots you can use, and more. Then, he covers how you can create your own Facebook Messenger bots, programming them from scratch or using different tools to make them.

The second article, The Complete Guide to ChatBots for Messenger Marketing Funnels, is a multi-part article covering the topic in depth. As an added bonus, you can see how they (the site posting the article) are using bots to do content upgrades via Facebook Messenger, as opposed to the typical way using email. Very clever.

2 .The $0 Marketing Stack

As you probably know most companies are in need or are using marketing automation tools. The problem is the landscape is getting crowded and there are a ton of options, more than 4,000 SaaS products, to chose from.

There are vendors such as HubSpot, Marketo, and others that offer an all in one solution, but those solutions come with a high cost, not only for the monthly fees for the software but for the training and support for the marketing and sales teams. Many experts are suggesting to take a different approach. That is to use specialized tools for each task and integrate them all together.

In this post, however, I want to bring your attention to an article that shows how you can have a fully functioning marketing stack for $0. Perfect for startups on a tight budget, written by my “paisano” (which means we come from the same country, Colombia), Juan Gonzalez. For some of the stack components you will need to start paying once you get some users, but if you are just starting this list is a good way to get some sophisticated marketing automation on a budget.

3. 3 Strategies to Turn Your Thank You Page into a Lead Gen Machine

This post provides three case studies of smart companies using their thank you page as a true marketing resource. Follow the step-by-step instructions if you want to include them in your tactic’s arsenal.

I haven’t implemented these tactics myself, but I am planning to do so soon.

Well, I was thinking in including five articles instead of three four, but I guess all of these are quite substantial.
